Settlements - Besides the town of Borovo, the municipality includes the villages of Volovo, Brestovitsa, Obretenik, Ekzarh Yosif, Gorno Ablanovo and Batin, four of which are mayoralties and two - settlements with a population under 500 people.
Transport System - In the territory of Borovo there are 40.8 km of paved 4th class roads, and an additional 7.3 km of smaller inter-village roads. Within the municipality, there are 6 inter-town roads: Dve Mogili—Biala, Batin—Rousse, Batin—Dve Mogili, Rousse—Lom Cherkovna, Biala—Pomen, and Kozlodui—Rousse. In addition, there is one road that runs from Borovo, through Volovo and ends in Brestovitsa.
Water Supply and Sewerage - In the town of Borovo there is modern sewer system, but it extends only to 80 of the 992 homes. During the period of 2001-2003, the system will be enlarged to include around half of the remaining homes, and a water treatment facility.
The whole municipality has a reliable and dependable water system.
