The population of the entire Municipality is 8,216 people, of which 2,792 live in Borovo, and the remaining 5424 live in the six villages. The population is split fairly evenly by sex, with 49% men and 51% women.

The relatively high part of the population in the working age is a favorable influence on possible investment in our municipality. The following table presents the population according to sex, age and employment. 
The men constitute 49% of the population, and the women - 51%.

Ethnic structure

The municipality's population is mixed - Bulgarians, Turks and Romas.
